Overview of your Phuket tour
We'll start the day's with Karon Viewpoint to take in the breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea and the lush greenery of the island. Next we'll head to Naiharn Beach and will have some free time to rest and relax, or swim. Then to Windmill Viewpoint and Promthep Cape to take photos of even more seascapes and gorgeous views to memorialize the day's adventure. We will head over to The Big Buddha and snap some photos of this famous landmark as well as the surrounding scenery before have lunch. Stop at Wat Chalong. It is the largest and most sacred temple in Phuket, as it houses a bone fragment of Buddha. We'll wander around the temple, taking in the decorative walls and ceilings that depict mosaics of Buddha's life. The old town of Phuket is known for its vibrantly colored, century-old Sino-Portuguese houses that will transport you to a different era. We'll wander around the streets, taking in the sights and sounds and explore Soi Romanee, one of the most famous streets in the old town.

It was very easy to communicate with Pai via Tours by Locals and WhatsApp leading up to the tour. She notified us of a 10 minute delayed pick up due to traffic. We worked well with Pai to make the tour our own, adding in a visit to the Pearl Shop (the Farm tour was closed on Wednesday). It was a hot day, so she was sure to gather us in the shade when we were touring the Temple. She chose a great place for us to have lunch (on our own) at Chalong Pier. Pai has great English, and shares very interesting and entertaining information throughout our the tour. She is professional, and easy to spend the day with.

We had such a wonderful full day tour of Phuket led by our guide Pi. This was the first time in Thailand for some in our group and a repeat visit for two of us. Pi was able to exceeds the expectations of all of us. She was informative, knowledgable of the city, country and coustoms of the Thai people. Our driver expertly negotiated the very heavy traffic of Phuket and kept us right on schedule. We visited downtown for shopping, beautiful beaches and buddhist temples. It was a very special day!!
