Overview of your Kandy tour
I'm Ruwan a certified Tour guide in Sri Lanka at present and conduct guided tours to meet travelers' personal interests. Kandy is one of the most religious places in Sri Lanka. All Buddhist people wish to come here at least one time in their life. After our tour you will understand our culture and love Kandy how I do. I used to live in Kandy for several years so I know about Kandy very well. During our full day tour I will show you the best of Kandy and explain you about history and life. Kandy is located in hill area, so weather is bit cooler than in Colombo and there are many green forests and nature parks. I am going to tako you to Peradeniya Botanic garden, where I will explain about trees. Lunch we will have in one of the local restaurant so you can taste the best of Kandyan food. Afternoon walk in Udawatakelle in local jungle, where we can see huge old trees and rarely spot some deers.

Tour will start at 8. 00 AM and we will visit: 1, Temple of the Tooth Relic and Hindu temples /Church around the temple of the Tooth premises. 2, Museum 3, Peradeniya botanical garden 4, Cultural show 5, Udwattakele sanctuary 6, Lankathilaka temple 7, Gadaladeniya temple 8, Embekke temple 9, Kandy view point 10, Handicrafts actual workplaces etc. Please contact me if you have any questions and this tour is fully customizable towards your needs. I am able to change the itinerary and add Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, but we have to skip some other places.
