If you want to visit Burgos then its Unesco world Heritage site Cathedral should definitively be visited. Join me in this tour and we will visit this jewel of gothic architecture. But the city of Burgos is also full of history so after visiting its magnificent cathedral we will visit the city center to tet to know its bustling streets and squares.
Wow, we have taken a lots of tours around the world and Rosalía was by far the best! She is extremely personable, knowledgeable and has an amazing way to connect with you and communicate the history of her city and her country. We recommend her completely as an amazing guide and wonderful person to spend an afternoon with.
This was a very busy time in Burgos (i.e. Solar Eclipse), but Rosalia made the time that we did have very nice! Walking inside and around the beautiful cathedral, talking about the legends of (the very real) 'El-Cid', and strolling through some of the streets .... all were very interesting, and lots of fun.
We have been to more than 100 different tours and this one is within our top five most favorite. It is because of our tour guide Rosalia. Sure, Burgos is a very beautiful city but Rosalia made it very special. You can see that she loves this city and loves what she is doing. Because of her we learned a lot about Burgos. She is not only a very knowledgeable but also can present information in an interesting and understandable way. She is very kind, friendly and caring person. Rosalia was an excellent guide. Her knowledge of and enthusiasm for Burgos was extensive and very well explained. She gave us a very good understanding of the history of Burgos and the Cathedral that plays such a part in it. Rosalia made our tour so much more personal by giving us insights into the construction of the cathedral and the very many bishops and nobles buried there. Over all, an excellent and personable guide who we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get a good understanding of Burgos. Her English was extremely good and we all enjoyed our time with Rosalia. Marc
