My passion is for the beauty of all which our beautiful St Maarten / St Martin had, has and will have. It is an honor and joy to be able to share this passion with others. Born in the Netherlands, I have lived and went to school on St Maarten as a young child. As a teen and young adult I lived, went to school and started working in the Netherlands. At 30 my partner and I went on an adventure journey through the Caribbean for several months after which we decided to settle on Aruba. We lived on Aruba for 8 years before deciding to go back home, to Sint Maarten. I returned home to our beautiful island in 2011. I'm an advocate for sustainable tourism and a sustainable society. My passion is for our island, culture and people. By showing and telling others about St Maarten / St Martin's fragile natural beauty in a responsible way, I am hoping to create more awareness for conservation. Besides a guide, I'm also an artist working with recycled materials to create new and useful art to grow awareness and love for a creative, vibrant and responsible society. For years I’ve been exploring my passion for birding. I’ve always loved birds from both an artistic and natural perspective, and this interest has grown into a rewarding part of my island explorations. Recently, the end of 2025, I was introduced to geocaching here on Sint Maarten, and it quickly became a passion of mine. Exploring the island through hidden caches has added a whole new layer of adventure that I now love to share with guests. My background is engineering in which I have worked for years, my passion is a combination of education, creativity and interests. I am very grateful and happy to be able to combine my passion with my work as a guide. It was a creative challenge to find books and info on this 37 square mile island, divided by the French and Dutch. My love for our island has made me do, and still continue to do, lots of research on the island to find out as much as I can. St Martin has so much to offer, and my guiding really gives you a connection to our island. My tours will show you there's more than our lovely beaches, nice food, and fine shopping. The off-the-beaten track eco and cultural tours will show you the beauty of all which our beautiful St Martin had, has and will have. Experiencing our beautiful and little two nation Caribbean Island to the fullest while learning lots too. Individuals in need of assistance exploring our beautiful island are warmly welcome to tour with me. This includes guests with hearing or visual impairments, mobility challenges, developmental disabilities, seniors, individuals with mental health conditions, and others. I am also in the process of exploring additional options to better accommodate travelers who use wheelchairs. Collapsible wheelchairs and walkers can be accommodated. When making your booking, please let me know if you have any specific requests or needs so I can coordinate together and ensure the best possible experience. All my tours can be customized. I look forward to meeting you and showing you our wonderful little rock in the Caribbean. Nascha St Maarten Business License St Maarten Tour License I have no restrictions.
