Welcome to Lisbon! The capital of Portugal, it is over a thousand years old and even though it is not a big city when it comes to area, it is huge when we talk about history and culture. One of the legends about Lisbon, says that it was founded by Hercules, the Greek hero. If not by Hercules, it was for sure founded by the old Greek civilization and then occupied by the Roman and Arabic people, until the arrival of the Portuguese, until today. Let's explore this vibrant city and discover main monuments like the Jeronimos Monastery and the Belem Tower, built int he 16th century; the bridges over the Tagus River, 25 de Abril and Vasco da Gama; the Cristo Rei statue; Parque das Nações; the MAAT museum and the Belem Cultural Center which are recent Portuguese amazing engineering works. Come and discover Lisbon, a traditional and urban city at the same time, filled with history, beautiful architecture and amazing local life. I will try to give you a big picture of it, the country and our stories.

The visit order will be decided according to your main interests that we will discuss before and throughout the tour. Stops for photos and food are advised and decided also during the tour.
