" Discover why on this 6-hour sightseeing tour around its paradisiacal streets and gardens. We will start this tour of the rural villages outside Lisbon with a visit to Queluz National Palace and Gardens. Built as a royal residence by King Peter III, Queluz is one of the best examples of late 18th-century Portuguese architecture. Home to an important collection of decorative arts, the palace also boasts beautiful geometric gardens of lakes, sculptures and a colorfully-tiled canal. You will have the services of an expert guide, me! I will explain the history of how Sintra came to be, while we wander around romantic and mysterious locations. We will also go to Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca), the most western point of mainland Europe before we return to Lisbon to finish a perfect day through this magical place.
