Olá from Lisbon! My name is Cecilia, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Art History. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved to Lisbon ten years ago—quickly falling in love with this city’s light, history, and quiet magic. I’ve been guiding since 2006, first in Buenos Aires and now in Portugal, and what I enjoy most is creating meaningful connections between travelers and this beautiful country. Lisbon is one of Europe’s oldest capitals, a place where tradition and resilience are part of daily life, and I love helping visitors understand its culture, stories, and unique personality. My tours blend history, art, architecture, and local culture in a way that is accessible, engaging, and deeply human. Whether you prefer a relaxed walk through charming neighborhoods or a customized itinerary tailored to your interests, I’m here to create an experience that feels personal and memorable. I can also arrange private transportation when needed, through trusted professional drivers. Looking forward to welcoming you to Lisbon and sharing the city I’ve come to call home. Warm regards, Cecilia RNAAT Nº 34/2025

This experience is focused on the golden period of Portuguese history: the age of discoveries and the aim is to understand how the modern and global world was born, and why Portugal had a key role in that. For that purpose, we will visit the Jeronimos Monastery, UNESCO World heritage site; the Monument to the Discoveries, and impressive monument on the waterfront and the Belem Tower, a former defensive system to protect the entrance to the city. By noon, we will finish our visit in Belem and we will come back to Lisbon with a boat ride that will allow us to enjoy the city most beautiful views. A ride on the Tejo river is an experience not to miss. The boat will stop at Praça do Comércio (Commerce Square) where I can suggest lunch options or many more activities to enjoy in the city center.
Our morning together will start with a coffee and the most famous custard tart of the world: Pastel de Belém, at this iconic and classic Café from 1837. We will then go to visit the cloister of the Jerónimos Monastery, with pre-paid tickets to jump directly in the fast que. Then, we will walk to the Monument to the Discoveries and to the Belém Tower. At the tower, we will catch the boat to come back to Lisbon.
