Hello! My name is Anna. I live near Poznań, one of the oldest cities in Poland. Since I graduated Academy of Physical Education with the faculty in tourism I organize tours and show interesting places in Poznań and Poland. With me you can also go to the mountain to learn to ski or I can take you to the lake near Poznań to sail on the yacht. Since I became a professional tour leader and the guide I take tourists on trips to show fantastic spots in Poland especially in Wielkopolska (Greater Poland) which has a lot things to offer e. g. The oldest Catedral in Poland or "Abakans" exibited in the Citadel Park. There is also artifical lake close to the city center where important sport events take place. Here there is also the most beautiful Renaissance Town Hall north of the Alps -according to the designers. Frankly speaking come and see it or taste it because Poznań is noted for its cuisine like "Pyzy", "Rogale", "Golabki" and other delicious dishes. I also have the experience in ancestral trips. I can take you with my comfortable car or in case of more then 4 persons we can hire a car. I am a good driver with the experience over 30 years. I speak Polish, English and Italian languages. Overview of your Poznan tour
You are going to see the most important places in Poznań connected with Polish history. I have created this tour for people who visit Poland and Poznan for the first time. We'll Start at Cathedral Island, where we will see one of Poland's oldest cathedrals. We'll then stroll through the Old Market Square with the city symbol, The "Fara church" and the spectacular Plac Wolności. Optionally we can stop for coffee on the pleasant Stary Rynek or we can try the best ice cream home made that is my favorite one! When I am with my tourists always something extra happen like a wedding in town hall or change of guard, parade of ulan! or so on. Also if you have a Saturday tour, we'll have a chance to enjoy the organ concert at quarter past twelve! With me you feel safe and comfortable. I am able to tailor every tour to conform to your requirements, so please let me know your personal requests and interests. Anna was fantastic! Very knowledgeable of both local and greater Polish history and how it integrated within the world at the time. She drove us around, which was great in the winter. We had our 8 month old with us, but not a problem with Anna! She very much tailored the tour to our interests but also gave us suggestions as well. You need more than 1 day in Poznan, beautiful city with lots to do and great places to shop. Would highly rec Anna as a guide, she's a gem!
Your Poznan tour itinerary
Start : Cathedral island - the first cathedral in Poland about 1 hour Old Market Square with the city symbol- at noon, The "Fara church" and beautiful tenements about 2 hours Spectacular Plac Wolności with the monuments old and modern about 1 hour. We could stop for coffee on the Stary Rynek. On Saturdays, quarter past twelve we can listen the organ concert. If you have any other suggestions or places to visit just let me know.
