Hello! My name is Anna. I live near Poznań, one of the oldest cities in Poland. Since I graduated Academy of Physical Education with the faculty in tourism I organize tours and show interesting places in Poznań and Poland. With me you can also go to the mountain to learn to ski or I can take you to the lake near Poznań to sail on the yacht. Here there is also the most beautiful Renaissance Town Hall north of the Alps -according to the designers. Frankly speaking come and see it or taste it because Poznań is noted for its cuisine like "Pyzy", "Rogale", "Golabki" and other delicious dishes. I also have the experience in ancestral trips. I take you from Poznan on the picturesque road 20 km south from Poznan to the Kornik castle and majestic Rogalin palace. Marvellous residences of noble families, important to Poznan, Greater Poland and the polish history. Kornik is very unique because it survives the WWII -everything is original as it was left by the family. On the other hand Rogalin wasn't so lucky but finally thanks to his owner Former President on the exile MR Raczyński and his daughters became a part of the foundation which takes care of it. Why the two residences are so different? Who were the owners ? How they and their wives influenced local and national politics? Who designed these architectural pearls? and much more. We go through the garden city Puszczykowo,we try the one and only ice cream homemade by the same family for almost 100 years. . All of this and morev you can try on this special tour.
Your Poznan tour itinerary
- 9. 00 pick up from the meeting point it could be the hotel, train station or airport. - Ride to Kornik residence of Dzialynski family. The castle is UNIQUE because it survived the WW II everything the same like the family left. - Then stroll in wonderful arboretry. There we will be up to 2, 5 hours . - Then short ride to Rogalin. - On the way stop for lunch we can choose variety of spots from the local bar to a fancy restaurant with polish cuisine. Rogalin is a baroque - classical palace surrounded by rococo garden and picturesque valley of Warta river. Palace restored with the smallest detail. Wonderful and very interesting history of the five generations. - On the way to Poznan shortstop for the cult ice cream in Puszczykowo "so called the garden city" - close to 5. 00 pm return to the meeting point.
