I started taking people around the Philippines when I was in university, and have made lasting friendships with tourists both local and from abroad. I love traveling. I love taking pictures. Soft-spoken yet highly credible, educator and photographer John Elton is 'The Manager'. He has this way of conversing with common folk such that they're exchanging smiles and contacts in no time. But hey, that's not flirting, just establishing connections. He is a walking directory of contacts--local guides, accommodation, tourism officers, caterers. Name it, he probably has it. And by the way, he loves puns and corny jokes. Expect a lot of sitcom moments. " This local guide is a licensed (national) tour guide; accredited trainer (tourism, caving, environmental protection); an environmental impact assessment system specialist; licensed scuba diver; trained UAV/drone pilot; trained cave explorer and mountaineer; university graduate and has taken a masters program at an international graduate school.

He asked many questions to know what kind of person I was and what I liked and brought to me places that were very local which I was able to not only have a great time but learn the culture.
