We will be visiting a different area each day, all beautiful, and unique in their own way. - Baguio, a mountain resort city, also known at the City of Pines. - Banaue, Recognisable for its rows upon rows of rice terraces, which were carved into the Mountains by the indigenous tribes over 2000 years ago and passed on through generations. These are also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. - Sagada, Visit the fascinating & unique hanging coffins displayed high on cliffs. Laying the deceased to rest in hanging coffins is a local tradition dating back thousands of years. Bomod-ok Falls is also another famous site we will visit in Sagada. Optional Add On: For those who are more adventurous, there is a optional add on to go splunking in Sumaguing Cave "Big Cave" (Approx $30USD pp) You'll weave your way past boulders, steep descents & cave pools. Marvel at the magnificent rock formations
Day 1 - Baguio Pick up from your hotel at 6am for an approx 6 hour drive to our first destination Baguio. - Lunch & Check-in - Baguio Botanical Garden - Plants, colorful flowers & native huts. Rent Igorot costumes for photos for 20-50 peso (Approx $1 USD) - Observation Deck - Fort Del Pilar / Philippines Military Academy & Museum. Dinner at a local restaurant. Day 2 - Banaue Leave the hotel at 5:30am, stopping for breakfast shortly after before driving the approx 6 hours to Banaue. - Lunch and check-in - Marvel at the amazing view of the terraces from the Hotel - visit Batad Village where you can walk among the amphitheater-style terraces of Batad. (A very different point of view) - DInner at Hotel Day 3 - Sagada We will leave Banaue after breakfast approx 7am - Stopping at 2 view points along the way - Lunch & Check-in - The hanging coffins - Sagada Weaving - Bomod-ok Falls (Optional Sumaguing Cave) Dinner at Hotel Day 4 Early 6am breakfast, before we head off on the long drive
