Corregidor Experience - Full Day Tour

Explore Corregidor's Memorial War Zone. This tour is a favorite among visitors due to the island's fascinating story. Though heavily bombed during WWII, the island still has many of its artillery, buildings & barracks standing (some, after restoration) Once on the island, your tram tour will begin. In a small group with a very knowledgeable guide will take you around the island stopping at many sites, where you are able to get off the tram to explore the buildings, barracks, artillery & monuments. A highlight of this tour is Malinta Tunnel. You will enter the tunnel where key points in Corregidor's history are brought to life through a lights & sounds show. Buffet lunch with drinks is included Note: Due to restrictions by the tour operators of Corregidor, I am not permitted to guide on the Island. I will therefore organise tickets, ensure you get on the ferry & pick you up on your return

Starting with pick up from your hotel at 5:30am. We will then head to the ferry terminal to catch the ferry to Corregidor island. On the ferry, a documentary about Corregidor's role in World War II will be shown. Once you arrive at Corregidor, you will then take a tram tour to the many historical sites of Corregidor which include: - The Mile-long Barracks. The most photographed structure in Corregidor - Lorcha Dock. Where Gen. McArthur departed and uttered the words "I shall return" - Battery Way. Expect to see heavy artillery all throughout the tour - Battery Hearn - The Pacific Wall Memorial - The Lighthouse. Breathtaking views of Manila Bay and bird's eye-view of the island - Battery Geary - Battery Crockett - Filipino Heroes Memorial - The Japanese Garden of Peace - Museum. Memorabilla, photos, letters etc - Malinta Tunnel. With an audio-visual presentation by National Artist Lamberto V. Avellana of the events that took place on the island - Plus More!
