This tour will be a Day trip from Chiclayo to discover the best of Lambayeque and Ferreñafe. This tour combines both nature and culture. From the Lambayeque Sican Culture, you will discover a burial sui generis, found with more than 1 ton of jewelry and a man buried literally in the fetal position. Also, you will appreciate another burial site that has intercultural sacrifices. On the nature aspect of the tour, you will visit a forest where culture was hidden for thousands of years and we can visit not only the pyramids but also learn about the different species of birds that inhabit the area. You will also have the unique opportunity to climb the purgatory mountain where local people have a tradition: if you climb that mountain you will clean your sins. If this would not be reason enough -or you consider yourself already clean from sin, at the top of this mountain you will admire a splendid view of the valley of the pyramids.
Your Chiclayo tour itinerary
•Early in the morning we'll pick you up from your hotel or airport to go to ferreñafe city and start a visit in the main square • Afterwords we will visit Sican museum to see one of the best tombs found by a japanese archaeologist on 1991 and 1995. •After that will be nice to enjoy the nature of the forest known as Pomac, where many pyramids are hidden as well as different species of bird. •Then after a drive of 30 min we will visit Tucume the valley of the pyramids, where 26 mud buildings and a mirador are waiting for you. -All my tours can be customized, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions -
