I am Nature National Guide of Nicaragua , with great sense of humor. Twenty five years of diversified service experience in tourism industries. I have a wide experience in leading tourist groups for known companies in North America and Europe. Nicaragua is an absolute paradise for lovers of pristine nature and adventurous travel. I also possess a Degree Tourism Management and License as National Guide. I had the previlege to worked as a Location Scout for two well known filming productions (Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and Survivor Nicaragua CBS). I also won a Top Guide Award in 2010 by REI Adventure Travel. Founder of Cerro de Piedra a Conservation project in the rural area of El Mojon Masaya. This is a unique project and the only model of Green living and conservation in small scale in the country. In my nature tours we do not disturb the wildlife from the natural habitat. One of my greatest passions is nature and adventure, especially bird watching; but also politics, religion, culture, and most important Nicaraguan Gastronomy. On my free time, the greatest leisure of all is to be with my lovely daughters and my beautiful wife. Come to Nicaragua and experience the uniqueness of this country with a living humble heart before it gets commercialized! I'm licenses as a National Guide of Nicaragua by the Tourism Board. Discover the charm, traditions, and flavors of Nicaragua on a private Journey through the famous White Towns of Granada and Masaya. Your Experience begins with a private pick up from your Hotel in Managua , Granada or nearby areas, followed by a scenic drive through the countryside to explore some of the regions most traditional towns. Our first stop will be at a farm in base of Mombacho volcano for a unique Cacao Experience. Walk in the Cacao Plantation and learn how cacao is grown,harvesrted, fermented and dried. Discover how cacao bean is transformed into chocolate and finish the experience with a chocolate testing,including locally produced chocolate and traditional hot cacao drink. Next we will have a stop in San Juan de Oriente to see and experience the process of pottery making. Continue to Nambume Ancestral for an authentic Nicaraguan culinary experience. Nicaragua's food traditions and the connection between food, family and rural culture.

8:00 AM – Private Hotel Pick-Up in Managua Meet your private guide and begin your journey toward the countryside surrounding Mombacho Volcano. 9:00 AM – CACAO & CHOCOLATE FARM EXPERIENCE Begin the day at a cacao farm located near the base of Mombacho Volcano. Walk through the cacao plantation and discover the journey from cacao bean to chocolate. During the experience, guests can learn about: * Cacao cultivation * Harvesting and fermentation * Drying and roasting * Traditional chocolate preparation * Grinding cacao beans *Local Cacao beverages *Chocolate testing ( You may bring your favorite nuts or spices) 11:00 AM – SAN JUAN DE ORIENTE Visit a local artisan workshop where guests can see how clay is transformed into traditional Nicaraguan pottery 1:30 PM – NAMBUME ANCESTRAL Continue to Nambume Ancestral for an authentic Nicaraguan culinary experience. 3:30 PM – DRIVE THROUGH THE WHITE TOWNS 4:00 PM Catarina View Point
