Gidday, I'm a down-to-earth 5th generation Kiwi lad. I was raised on a dairy farm in Taranaki, where I learned to steer a tractor at four, milk a cow and can cook a fantastic bowl of porridge. With over 20 years in the wine industry, I studied winemaking and viticulture in Marlborough and then had the privilege of working in wineries across Australia, America and Europe. I love surfing, snowboarding, fishing, and family holidays with my lovely wife Kylie and our two free-spirited children. I love entertaining guests on the tour and have been running tours for 10 years. With a background in winemaking and a love of New Zealand, I will take you to the best and most interesting places in Marlborough. I offer 3 different tours of Marlborough. One doesn't have lunch included in the cost, so it is a different price from the other tours. I suggest booking in advance as I get very busy throughout New Zealand's summer and peak season. I look forward to meeting you and showing you why I love Marlborough and New Zealand. We had a great day with Cam. We were meeting him from a cruise ship and he was aware of all of the protocols for picking up passengers and communicated those to us early. Our day included three stops (Clos Henri, Cloudy Bay and Saint Clair). Clos Henri and Saint Clair were the stars of the day. Lunch at Saint Clair was also delicious. Cam had extensive knowledge of the wine industry and the area and was able to introduce us to the wines and give us an idea of what we would be tasting for the day. Cam had a very comfortable vehicle and was an enjoyable person to talk to for the day. Thanks Cam!

Cameron arranged a wonderful day for us. He shared some local information, we had 3 great wine tastings & a delightful lunch. It was good to learn about New Zealand wines & now we know what to look for in our wine shops when we get home. He ended with a walk thru a beautiful park & then had us back to our ship in plenty of time. A perfect host!!

Cam gave us a fantastic tour of the Marlborough wine region, taking us to a wide variety of cellar doors (wineries) to give us exactly the experience that we were looking for. He has excellent knowledge of wine and the wine business. We had so much fun with him and we learned a lot about Marlborough wines.

Your Picton tour itinerary

Pick-up time is flexible from the Picton information center. (8. 30am-10.30am is our suggested start time) We will work around your ships arrival. If time permits a walk though Picton or a local park to enjoy the natural beauty of this area. 10. 30 am Vineyard talk and winery tour through a leading family-owned winery. 11. 00 am Private tasting of tailored to your preferences. 12. 00 (noon) Visit an organic vineyard. Depending on your preferences this small boutique winery will create a tasting depending on your preferences. 1 pm Lunch and wine tasting at a local favourite restaurant. The lunch is at your own cost. After lunch we can visit Cloudy Bay vineyard or the Makana chocolate factory or enjoy local scenery. The tour is highly tailored to every specific group's preferences. Marlborough is a beautiful region with over 40 different wine tasting option
