Hello everybody, I'm Gaia . My name means happy and actually I'm very happy because I do the most beautiful job in the world: I'm a tour guide! I have a deep passion for art and in particular for painting. After classical/art studies I graduated in Law. But culture and history remained my passion. Thanks to my parents I had a childhood immersed in the history of art, from the ancient Roman and Greek myths to the contemporary and modern art. This upbringing has transformed me in a guide specialized in museum. To guarantee you a high-quality service I decided to follow a course to become an official guide in The Netherlands and I'm proud to be a member of this association. During my study I could deepen my knowledge of subjects such art, history and the famous water management. I'm a big fan of the famous Golden Age period and the many things that developed during that time: the 17th century. In particular, the beautiful paintings by Rembrandt and other great artists which are a true highlight. I love to show people around and to let them fall in love with Amsterdam and the the other wonderful places in The Netherlands. But my opinion is that a tour is not only share knowledge about history, art and coulture but create a meaningful and personal experience. I love to build a genuine connection with travellers! I love to create memorable experiences for everyone involved in a tour: also for kids and teenagers to whom I feel particulary connected sharing with them my enthusiasm in a light-hearted way. I'm particulary suitable for group of friends, family tours but also for travellers with particulars need and attention as people with limited mobility. I have experience of touring with wheelchair users both in Amsterdam and its most popular museum. -Licensed guide: member of official guide organization in The Netherlands. -Diploma after a course by institute Roc in Amsterdam to become guide in The Netherland. -Museum guide -Municipality license to guide in the city center of Amsterdam -Licensed Journalist in Italy -Bachelor diploma degree in Law. -Driving license I do not have any restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences

Utrecht and Gouda are both rich in history, culture and charme. We will visit both in one day trip! Utrecht is a vibrant city, often considered a hidden gem compared to Amsterdam. It combines medieval charm with a youthful atmosphere, thanks to the large student population. Gouda is famous worldwide for its cheese, but it offers much more than just diary. With its well-preserved medieval center and vibrant market square, Gouda is a delightful destination for food enthusiasts, history lovers and those who looking for an authentic Dutch experience.
We will start in Utrecht, one of the Netherland's oldest and most picturesque cities. First of all we will head to the iconic Dom with its tallest tower in the country (112 meter). We will visit the imposing church with its centuries-old past Than we stroll along the beautiful Old Canal and the lively museum district. There will be time for a lunch in one of the cosy places in the city center In the afternoon we will leave for Gouda (only 20 minutes away by train). We will visit, among other things, the stunning Gouda City Hall, a 15th-century Gothic masterpiece and we admire de Waag (the old weight house) where we will have a cheese tasting session. Upon request it is also possible to do a workshop on the preparation of Stroop Wafels, a thin, round cookie made from two layers of sweet baked dough held together by syrup filling. Later in the afternoon we will heading back to Utrecht or Amsterdam if you prefer. Is also possible to start from other cities as Amsterdam.

In the Netherlands, public transport (in particular trains) work very well. The transport time between Utrecht and Gouda is only 20 minutes
Utrecht, Netherlands
I suggest meeting in front of the central station but I am flexible in case you are more comfortable meeting somewhere else. Is also possible to start from other cities as Amsterdam.
