Hi! My name is Amine, I am a member of Meknes Tour Guides Association. I'm certified by the Moroccan Ministry Of Tourism.
As a native, it goes without saying, that I am deeply in love with my city and those who seek to visit my country from all over the world.
So far, my years as a certified Moroccan tour guide, have been exceedingly lively, filled with adventure and life. In these years, I have successfully accompanied and led guests of all ages, nationalities, and group sizes. I've surpassed the keen expectations and quenched their interests, every time, by offering authentic, local, memorable, and safe experiences, throughout my city: Meknes.
Meknes was chosen as a UNESCO's world legacy of civilization, for it's historical patrimony. The city became the capital under the rule of Sultan Moulay Ismail (1672-1727), who was the founder of the Alawite Empire. The city has an unforgettable and easy-going medieval ambience. In addition, Meknes has several palaces, spectacular Mosques and Madrassas behind the fortified walls that feature many giant entrances, and the world-famous Bab Mansour.
My tours focus mainly on the cultural, historical, and social component relevant not only to the city of Meknes but to Morocco as well. I set my tours to be way informative, interactive and spontaneous rather than scripted. Conducting tours and sharing my knowledge about the cultural and touristic potentials of my hometown is a passion before being a job. It's a learning experience for the guide and the tourist.
As your guide, I will give your journey meaning and stir it up with sudden sparks of excitement, laughter, and enjoyment. I am fully determined to make your visit as memorable and comfortable as possible, with programs and itineraries that are fully adjustable to your interests, energy, and comfort. It will be a pleasure for me being your guide for your journey in Meknes City.
So welcome to Meknes and welcome Morocco!
