Hi, I am Adiya. It sounds like "Idea" I was born and grew up in Mongolia. Mongolia was Soviet country until I became teenager, so I am living in two different regime. That makes me to feel old. Well, that makes me to tell you about Mongolia a whole lot of stories such as the scarcity of ice cram period and the first time I tasted the coke and becoming the one of the first street traders of the country and so on. I offer Private tours all over Mongolia including half day, day long or multi-day tours. I like to treat visitors as a friend rather than a customer. It means you can customize your tour and feel free to ask me anything but my wife and tooth brush. I live in the Mongolian Capital Ulaanbaatar (Red Hero) founded 1639. People live in apartment, ger/yurt and houses. Almost half of the population lives here. Traffic is bad but better then India or Philippines. So, I stay positive. I have 4 children and we love nature and the outdoors. I like good food, music, reading, and photography. So, I can take you to the place with good local food and things to do. I studied tourism and hospitality. I love this work because I get to share my knowledge and culture, also, I am able to learn many things about other countries from people on the tours. Our company have done archeological, botanical, historical, filming and photography tours and expeditions into central Mongolia, west to the Altai Mountains, south to the Gobi Desert and the Karakorum. Come join me in this tour and experience Nomadic culture life in their original setting. I have so many reasons why you should book this tour but the most importantly this particular family is super hospitable and love to share their culture. You may feel visiting your long time friend here even it is your first time. I met this family long time ago and felt that way and now we are good friends and enjoy sharing our story with guests. Ms. Siilegmaa will sing for you the folk song. Mr. Ganchuluun will show you his medals and handcrafts. She will cook for you traditional Mongolian food. We will explore the wild horses called Takhi and roe deer and do some photo safari in this area. We may interfere with mare milking and cow milking, which is main activities of nomadic people. The life is so peaceful here and we will forget the stress in this valley away from cities and busy life yet only 100 km out of town.
Day 1: - Leave the city and drive to Khustai National Park which is about 1. 5 hours away from the city (87km on a paved, 13 km a dirt road). - We will drive into the Khustai Mountains and search for the wild horses, deer, elk and marmots to observe and take pictures. - After that, we will go to the boutique ger hosted by the nomadic family. We will visit their ger first and get acquainted with the host family and we will learn about the culture. We will have an open discussion to get to know more about the family background and their nomadic culture and lifestyle. Lunch and dinner will be prepared and served by the family. Accommodation: Boutique Ger Meals: Lunch and Dinner Day 2: - The family will serve homemade bread, fresh buttercream for breakfast. - After breakfast, we will drive about 30 km to visit Ungut Kurgan stelae historical site. We will ride a horse for an hour or less. We will see and take part in the nomads daily life activities. - Then we will head back to Ulaanbaatar.
