Malta and Gozo - both islands that have offered me a variety of wonderful experiences and magical moments that will remain forever embedded in my memory. You can all read about History but it takes a passionate local to make you 'feel' the place you are visiting. This is what I would like to convey to you as your private guide and, at the same time, impress you with the thousands of years of history on our 'rocks' (as we fondly refer to them) on your private tour. I was also President of the Malta Union of Tourist Guides while also serving on the Council for many years. I have travelled the world through out my life ( in part thanks to my Dad being a Diplomat) and still travel as its also my passion. I like to think that I will highly contribute to your visit on our islands enjoyable by making it a truly enjoyable Ex experience! Guiding gives me the opportunity to 'show off' our beautiful historical and artistic treasures which vie with some of the beautiful European Cities. I studied languages, history, art and History of Architecture . I am currently finishing off my thesis for a Master in Tourism and Culture. I like to take people off the beaten track and show them places to take wonderful pictures, show them that hidden vista. Let me make your Maltese experience a truly memorable one! I guide on both Malta and Gozo and I look forward to meeting you! I have been a fully licensed guide by the Malta Tourism Authority since 1995 and involved in Tourism for over 30 years. I have attended British and American International schools which has given me a vast educational perspective. I also attended University in the United States, was President of the Malta Union of Tourist Guides and Council member for several years. Valletta! A city built by the Order of the Knights of St. John that houses beautiful palaces. the splendid Co-Cathedral, the Grand Masters' Palace and many splendid vistas to delight you. This 2 hour tour will enchant you as we wind through a city that is nothing short of a wonder of Military planning and elegant buildings. Entrances to Historical sites and Museums are payable directly and I will be more than happy to let you have a list of costings so that you can decide according to you budget. Should you have a particular site in mind. please do let me know beforehand so that I can check on accessibility. Pick up may be from the Cruise liner terminal if you are on a Cruise ship or a meeting point in Valletta if you wish. If at the start/end of the tour you wish to have transport pickyou up or take you back to your starting point, a taxi can be ordered and you settle directly with the driver.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and conveyed the information well. She provided the information to help us understand what we were seeing in an in depth way. We concentrated our tour on the St. John Co-Cathedral which was a very good choice.
We leave the port or a designated meeting point and head straight into to Valletta which is perched on a ridge. We visit the Upper Barrakka Gardens, walk to the former Church of the Knights Hospitaller (definitely worth visiting - entrance extra. (NOTE:Closed on Sundays) and on to Palace Square. I will then decide what you wish to add - such as Casa Rocca Piccola, the Palace and/or Knights' Armoury, War or Archaeology Museums that you may visit under you own pace.

The entire tour will be on foot. We have the option of taking an elevator from the port to the top of the city walls if you come by cruise ship. This costs Euro 1 per person. We can also quote for more larger groups.
