Welcome! My name is Victoria and I live in Gharghur, North East of Malta. I am a licensed, professional tour guide since 2005. For several years I have been informing and entertaining visitors from across the country and around the world about the sights and history of our beautiful country. Tour guiding was always my dream. At school, history was always my favourite subject and visiting places of interest was my biggest pleasure. I fulfilled my dream when I was 17 years. I was accepted by the Malta Tourism Institute to participate in the Tour Guiding Course. After 2 years of an intensive full time course, the Malta Tourism Authority had recognized me as one of its qualified guides. Being a tour guide is an exciting job that introduces you to people and places average travelers and tourists never experience, but it also requires solid skills and knowledge. To ensure this, I participate in various seminars and events in my field. Recently, I participated in a tourism-related EU funded project, consisting of an intensive course equivalent to the level of a Diploma in Tourism Management. I will be more than happy to help you plan your holiday or show you the most interesting places in the Maltese Islands, either by visiting the oldest free-standing temples in the world, the UNESCO World Heritage city of Valletta, the medieval town of Mdina, the island of Gozo steeped in tradition, or by following one of the many nature trails. Besides the popular traditional tours I also offer a number of excellent themed itineraries for all the different types of groups and ages and have been recommended by many including National Geographic. Together we can design a programme which suits your interests best. I have a passion for where I live and I have many ideas for exciting trips that I could take you on. I look forward to meeting you! Overview of your Valletta tour

Take a drive to the town of Mosta and enjoy a guided visit to the famous Mosta Dome, considered the third largest church dome in Europe. Continue to the ancient city of Mdina. This enchanting Maltese city offers a warren of narrow streets, populated by churches, palaces and gracious houses. Enjoy some free time to explore the Ta' Qali Handicrafts Village and watch local artisans at work producing typical Maltese ware such as glass, silver and filigree.

During our one week vacation in Malta, my wife and I undertook a number of tours with Victoria. Each one was tailored to our particular interests and our mobility needs. This was our second tour with Victoria. We enjoyed the flexibility in selecting the sights visited and also the accommodation of times and pick-up starting point based on an earlier obligation. Victoria really brought Mdina to life and the walk to some of the less visited religious sights in Rabat was very interesting. Victoria also provided some suggestions for how we could spend our remaining time in Malta. An excellent tour.

Your Valletta tour itinerary

Our day and the time we start the tour is flexible and is meant to accommodate your schedule and interests. Drive to Mosta Church for an internal visit of the church and museum. Drive to Mdina for a guided walking tour of the city main streets. Optipnal coffee Break. Drive to the Crafts Village. Visit the Glass Blowers and free time for shopping. There may be occasions without prior notice when the Mosta Dome is closed due to a religious function. If this should occur another stop can be added depending on your own wish. The order of tour sites may vary depending on traffic and overcrowding of venues. Shoulderless tops or shorts are not permitted inside the churches. Note: This tour includes walking at a leisurely pace (wear comfortable walking shoes).
