A full-day immersive experience combining adventure with the authentic discovery of local culture and natural heritage. On this tour, you'll have the opportunity to come across Sifaka lemurs, regional reptiles & birds at the heart of unspoiled ecosystems. One of them is the Sacred Lake of Mangatsa, a place of serenity and spiritual significance, where calm waters and ancestral traditions create a deeply authentic atmosphere. Another ecosystem is the iconic Red Circus Canyon, a breathtaking landscape of time-carved sandstone formations glowing in diverse natural colors (especially at dusk). I will contextualize you on the history of the canyon as well as the culture of its dominant ethnic group. Additionally, you'll get to relax enjoying fresh flavors in a white sand beach with turquoise waters and a gentle ocean breeze. Swimming is encouraged, too!
-After picking you up, we'll go on a 45 min drive towards the Sacred Lake of Mangatsa, observing the way the Sakalava people live along the way, and discussing their history & culture. -Once at the lake, we'll visit a sacred natural aquarium, home to fish and a crocodile living in harmony. -After the aquarium, we'll continue exploring for around half an hour to contemplate local fauna mainly the endemic lemurs, plants & the giant Baobab tree. -Next, we'll depart to Grand Pavois Beach where a seaside lunch of local specialties awaits. -After having lunch and enjoying the beach (swimming, shelling, etc), we'll visit to the Red Circus Canyon, where we'll hike across its geological formations and stop by panoramic viewpoints. -We'll conclude the experience by witnessing a splendid sunset that transforms the scenery into a canvas of warm, unforgettable shades. -At last, we'll drive back to where I picked you up from.

49 Avenue De France, Mahajanga, Boeny, 401, Madagascar
I would suggest meeting in the city center, at Hôtel Restaurant Gourmand COCO LODGE MAJUNGA, located at 49 Avenue de France Street, Mahajanga 401, on the road leading to the giant Baobab toward the seaside (between the TPI courthouse and the gendarmerie). I could also pick you up from the Cruise Ship Port, the airport or any hotel in the city, so please specify your preferred address when booking.
