I am accustomed to explaining something to others because I had been a high school teacher for more than thirty years and after that, I have been a national government licensed guide-interpreter in English. Furano/Biei/Asahikawa areas are located in the center of Hokkaido. Especially in summer, beautiful flowers will make the whole area more beautiful than in the other seasons. In addition, Furano/Biei are famous for volcanic activities, which create unique landscapes such as Blue Pond, Blue Waterfall, and Mt. Tokachi. These areas are also famous for agriculture. Almost all kinds of farm produces such as rice, vegetables, fruits, milk, cheese, wine, and so on. Guests will be enjoying beautiful nature and nice foods.
Taki-san is an excellent guide. He expertly showed us the sights with much additional information and history of the area. He took great care to be sure we saw the beautiful and interesting sights of Furano and the surrounding area. The drive there from Sapporo through the tall green mountains was truly beautiful. The flower fields are amazing. And Taki-san went out of his way to get us to Furano Winery. Taki-San is an excellent driver too. We highly recommend his tour.
We did the tour with Takeki San in July 2026. We visited Farm Tomita, Shikisai no Oka, Biei Blue Pond, waterfall, and Anpanman museum. What a fantastic tour it was!!! Takeki San arrived right on time with the private car to our hotel. As he drove, he explained all the interesting facts about the areas we toured. He is very professional yet friendly, patient, and kind! We felt very lucky to have found such a wonderful guide for our trip! Highly recommended, and we will look for him for sure next time we visit Hokkaido!
