1. Yukemuri Observatory (15 minutes • Admission Ticket Free) Here we will be able to see the steam rising from the hells of Beppu hot springs into the sky. It is the perfect spot to see the town of Beppu and the mountains. 2. Beppu Ropeway (1 hour • Admission Ticket Not Included. ) We will ascend 1300 meters above sea level on the largest Ropeway in Kyushu, where you can see panoramic views of Beppu Bay. 3. Mt. Yufu (Pass By) Mount Yufu is a 5,195 ft volcano located on the border of Yufu and Beppu. 4. Sagiridai Observatory (10 minutes • Admission Ticket Included) This observatory is located between Yufuin and Beppu. This stop offers a beautiful view of the Yufuin Basin from 680 meters above sea level. 5. Yufuin Area (2 hours • Admission Ticket Included) A rural town that would make you feel like stepping into a beloved Ghibli film. 6. Lake Kinrin (20 minutes • Admission Ticket Free) The lake sits under Mt. Yufu, it was named to Kinrin, or “golden scales”.
