SPOLETO: A drammatic jewel in Southern Umbria One of the most scenografic towns is situated close to the old Roman Road Flaminia.The majestic aqueduct-bridge of Towers was a fount of ispiration for the composer Giancarlo Menotti, founder of Festival di Due mondi ( Festival of Classic Music from 1958). The beauty of Spoleto Is also the Fortress of Albornoz, where Lucrezia Borgia lived and Cathedral with its early Renaissance master piece of Lippi.

Our tour beginning in the fortress area, located in the highest part of the historical center. From there, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the magnificent Ponte delle Torri, surrounded by the lush greenery of nature. Next, we will visit the Main Church, rich in history and architectural charm. We continue to explore the casa romana and the market square in the heart of the city center. The walking tour concludes in the piazza near the Roman theatre. Note: All suggested itineraries can be combined with others to make a full day and can be customized to meet your interests.
