Ciao & Welcome to Italy Tours with Mauro! I have been involved in the Tour Industry for over 13 years now and look forward to sharing my Beautiful country, it's food, it's traditions and of course it's values on life with all of you. I have first hand knowledge to share with each of you regarding the different regions, their food, wines, cheeses and tasty treats on the side like olive oil, balsamic and the art of truffles! Not to mention the best Gelato in each hilltop town inside and out of Rome. I'm originally from the Eastern side of Italy on the Adriatic Sea, a region called Puglia. So I am no stranger to the best beaches, sea food and nature that Italy has to offer as well. I am young, energetic, fun spirited, honest and most of all always on time. Overview of your Rome tour
On this tour we will explore Eternal Rome within the footsteps of Emperors and Gladiators. I will pick-you up from your location and drive you to the Colosseum, built in 79 AD. I will share with you ancient tales and stories about the Gladiator's that were trained and fought their battles to stay alive, the Emperors who ruled the Roman Forum and the day to day Roman life all while you are taking breathtaking pictures. After the Colosseum we will enjoy a fabulous lunch on the terrace with a beautiful view of the Colosseum( 1st & 2nd Floor only included ) After lunch we will experience the Arc of Costantine and the Forum where the ancient roman political life thrived. You will walk on the same rocks where the Caesars walked. At the exit of the Forum we can walk back to the car and drive to your location after gelato.
