Hi there! I'm Barbara, born and raised in Rome, just a few feet from the Vatican City, I love to travel the world and explore different cultures! Overview of your Rome tour
Visit the most iconic building of Rome with a passionate, licensed guide and real Roman. . . me! After a short introduction of the Colosseum from outside, we will enter the biggest amphitheater in the world, almost 2000 years old, the symbol of the Eternal City. Thanks to the special access to the Arena floor you will learn how gladiators and exotic animals fought to entertain the demanding Romans directly on the stage! Then we will climb up to the second level and learn how the Emperors decided of the life or death of the losers. . . After the tour of the Colosseum, if you wish, I can escort you to the Roman Forum entrance, to explore, on your own, the heart of the Ancient Rome.
