The tour start at the Colosseum and Roman Forum and after a break for lunch you will discover the amazing fountains and squares of Rome. You'll walk through Ancient Rome at the Roman Forum, the the center of public life in Rome, with its temples and public buildings. As an archaeologist I had in the past years the opportunity to work in archaeology diggings in all of Rome and also here. Walking on the Via Sacra with me you'll relive a day in the heart of the religious, political and social life in Ancient Rome. You will admire the triumphal arches and the imposing basilicas. Then you' ll toss a coin into the Trevi fountain, that will ensure you a return to Rome! You will see the Spanish Steps, with the Barcaccia fountain. Be amazed by the Pantheon, the best preserved ancient Roman temPle with its stunning dome. The tour will end in Piazza Navona, the most beautiful square in all of Rome.
