Hello! All roads lead to Rome and you will find me there! My name is Raffy (Raffaela ), I am a native and licensed Tourist Guide, Tour Leader in Rome and The Vatican City. Overview of your Rome tour
The Colosseum is the most visited italian monument, symbol of the Roman Empire and today emblem of the city of Rome. We will feel transported into a different time and we will discover its exceptional architecture, the fame of gladiators and spectacles, its popularity through the centuries, and its medieval and Christian reuse. We will walk through the Roman Forum which was the heart of the administrative, political, religious and economic power, where we can have a real feeling of how life was in the ancient Rome. Afterwords, we will admire the Palatine Hill, with the ruins of its Imperial Palaces, its remarkable myths of Rome foundation and a spectacular view of Rome and the archeological site.
Your Rome tour itinerary
- Colosseum: first and second level, (Arena stage optional) - Arch of Costantine - Roman Forum: Arch of Titus Temple of Julius Caesar House of the Vestal Virgins Basilica of Maxentius - Palatine Hill Emperors' Palaces remains - Terrace overlooking the Roman Forum and Rome - Venice Square - Altar of the Fatherland This tour can be customized to your preferences. The itinerary could be on the reverse according to Colosseum time slot tickets. IMPORTANT: This tour includes the Colosseum Standard Tickets. The availability of Arena tickets is limited, I will try to buy them in advance. -Please bring a copy of your passport (hard copy or photo on your phone) tickets are nominal and you must show a copy of your documents. -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different. NOTE: during the Winter from November to February the latest time to start the tour is 1:00 PM.

Walking Tour. -I suggest bringing a bottle of water and to wear comfortable shoes. -During the summer, be sure not to forget a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. -During the winter, be sure not to forget a raincoat or small umbrella. -Only small bags/backpacks (40x35x15) are permitted. -For security reasons, all visitors are to be screened with Metal Detectors.
