Ettore made the Villa Romano tour come alive. This world heritage site conquered all the other Roman sites I have been to such as Pompey, Rome, Spain, Greece and Turkey for the quality and completeness of the palace and mosaics. Ettore spins the story of each room in the palace and his command of Roman mythology and Sicily was impressive. I highly recommend Sicily And this tour!

I would rate this tour as many stars as I could give! This is a true Sicilian experience with an amazing guide! DO NOT HESITATE!! We had a blast; family of 6, ages 21-51..there was something for everyone. Thank you for an amazing day!
- The visit will start from the Roman Villa: I will let you discover every room of this incredible place in a two hours tour. - After that you will be accompanied in the historical centre of Piazza Armerina, for a tour that will start from the top of the city where Ettore will offer you coffee and homemade cakes from the lounge of its art hotel in front of the Cathedral (perfect place to take the best pics of Piazza Armerina!). - Then you will visit the baroque Cathedral, the Palazzo Trigona and the Pinacoteca and walk through the enchanting medieval streets. - We will also visit the ancient library and the beautiful and abandoned old Church of Sant'Anna, then the first church of the town, built by the Malta's Knights, and the St. Peters Church with its cloister. All these churches are usually closed but will be open EXCLUSIVELY for your visit. - After that you will enjoy a tasty Sicilian brunch in Ettore's art gallery cafè, with local food excellences, surrounded by art and beauty.
