Welcome to my page. Imagine a place with the best food, great landscapes and amazing villages. with very few English speakers around and even less English road signs: I would definitevely ask someone to help me visit there! That place exists, it's my region, Abruzzo, and that "someone" is me! I'm Fabrizio, I'm fluent in English, French and a lot of local dialects, that sometimes come in handy, especially when you need to talk with some local grandmas. I was born and raised in Abruzzo but I feel I'm a citizen of the world. I lived in southern France, in Nova Scotia (Canada) and I traveled all over the world, visiting more then 30 countries, but Abruzzo has always had a special place in my heart. I'm married to an amazing Italian-Canadian girl, who shares with me the passion for travels, food, jazz music and, of course, the love for Abruzzo. Together, we spent the last years helping foreign people discover this unspoiled jem of Italy. My day trips focus on great local food and wine, beautiful little villages and the amazing landscapes that my region offers. All this seasoned with a generous dose of laughter! I am here to help you and I will be glad to show you this lovely side of Italy. - Drive license. - Hotel and tour service operator (2017). I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of museums.

Ever tried a "ricotta" cheese made just a few hours before you eat it? Or a cheese plate that makes you say: "Oh, THIS is cheese!"? In the mountains just outside Scanno, there is a family-run "agriturismo", where a brother makes delicious, unique cheeses in the morning and a sister turns them into pure magic at lunch! I know very well these lovely people and I want you to visit this place, you really have to! Again about food: there's a baked sweet delicacy you can find just in Scanno, the delicious "Pan dell'Orso" (bear bread) and you can't miss it either! On top of this, beautiful lakes, woods, an enchanting hermit place and the narrow tiny streets of the village, part of the exclusive "The most beautiful villages of Italy" club: what else? I know the area very well but I'm still amazed every time I go! I bet a piece of "Pan dell'Orso" that you'll love this day!
- I will meet you at Pescara Station in the morning. - Our first stop, Scanno is 1 and half hour drive far, but (after a little bit of highway) the driving itself is an amazing experience through rock bridges, woods and beautiful lakes! - We will stop at a café, where you'll taste the famous "Pan dell'Orso". Then we'll have a walk along the streets of the village to discover all the marvels of Scanno. - For lunch, we'll head the "agriturismo" (a 10-minute drive from Scanno) and we'll have our cheese and "shepherd cuisine" based lunch. - In the afternoon, we will stop at an amazing hermit place at San Domenico lake. - We'll drive back to Pescara late afternoon.
