When I was a little girl I used to spend much time with my grandmother and she started teaching me how to cook when I was five: I remember making gnocchi with her for the whole family in her basement, among wheels of pecorino cheese and sausages hanging from the ceiling! Since then, cooking has always been one of my passions. That's why I decided to share it with all my guests and create for you a glorious day cooking with a chef and me in beautiful Italian countryside! We will be making delicious Italian recipes and enjoying what we cooked for lunch with a good glass of Abruzzo wine. . . the authentic dolce vita! After our delightful morning together, we will visit an authentic olive mill, where you'll learn how extra virgin olive oil is produced and a certified EVO oil sommelier will teach how to recognize a good one. - I will meet you at Val Vomano bus stop in the morning. A 15-minute drive and we will start our day in beautiful Abruzzo countryside! - We will enjoy an aperitivo sipping some local wine, then you will start getting ready for your cooking class with a professional chef. - She will teach you how to prepare two recipes and we will eat what we cooked with a good glass of red wine! We will have some time for a homemade coffee and a little chat. - In the afternoon, we will visit an olive mill, where you will learn how olives are processed to make olive oil and an EVO oil sommelier will teach you how to recognise a good from a bad one. - We'll drive back to Val Vomano bus station late afternoon. NOTE: this is a basic plan for people arriving from Rome.
