Hi everybody, my name is Marcello. I'm specialized in high grade archeological and historical tours. Born and raised in Naples and belonging to a very old Neapolitan famiIy I've got the official license of Professional Tour Guide in 2000. Archaeological and historical tours are my core business but always based on keeping my clients "AWAY FROM THE MASSIVE TOURISM". I love my job. I love my country. I'm also specialized in the painting of '500 and '600, like Caravaggio, Tiziano, Raffaello, Jusepe de Ribeira, Battistello Caracciolo, and all the painters who" mastered the light". In 2015 I've got specialization in roman currency as well. I do cooperate with the U. S. Syracuse University, and over the past years, I had interesting experiences while working with some International TV productions as expert in archeology and art. The english speaking driver-guide takes you to main places of interest, the charming little town of Sorrento and the picturesque village of Positano. Opportunity for lunch in a typical family owned restaurants to taste the authentic local food and free time at leisure for your shopping.
Your Naples tour itinerary
The tour start from your location (Naples, Sorrento, Salerno or nearby towns). At the beginning of the tour, together with the driver-guide, based on its experience and upon your request, you will make the arrangement for the itinerary, in order to avoid the morning or afternoon traffic. I suggest to go first to the Amalfi Coast (Positano) and Sorrento, where to spend an amazing morning and than to Pompeii and Herculaneum. Of course the tour can be done on the reverse way. You'll be taken all along the wonderful Coast by showing you Sorrento and Positano: steep cliffs, emerald green sea, some luxurious residences grabbing to the rocks and this incredible narrow road stretching along the coast. That is the State Road 163 which everyone know as the Amalfi Drive. The most spectacular twisting road of the World Once in Pompeii (doesn't matter if in the morning or in the afternoon) we will meet for the Archeological tour that takes about 2 hours and it will be tuned onto people desires and physical attitudes.
