The Tastings of Naples

Ciao! And welcome to the amazing city of Naples! While strolling among the endless beauty and lively streets of the city, we’ll be tasting some the food marvels of the Parthenopean world, the popular pizza fritta (fried pizza), plain pizza dough filled with fresh ricotta, mozzarella, tomatoes and more, so simple but so good!!!! And you’ll have a chance to see how that’s made! Well also taste some Mozzarella, fresh from buffalo’s milk, pasta with ragú - every Neapolitan is raised with pasta and ragú! Tarallo, made after the war to avoid food wastes Our famous espresso caffé, not a mere drink, an institution! What to say about our world-known pastry Babbà, soaked in rhum….so fluffy and yummy!!!! - We will start from Piazza Dante one of the largest and most popular squares in town. - We’ll make our way into the Spanish Quarters all the way to the Pignasecca market, one of the oldest and busiest open-air markets in town. - Then we’ll head on to Spaccanapoli (split Naples) one of streets built on the old Greek Decumanus street Piazza del Gesú is next with the omonimous church and Santa Chiara Church - We will end in Piazza San Domenico where the old Greek marked used to be
