Are you passionate about Italian wines? Can you recognize a good quality olive oil? Would you like to combine two different but very interesting kind of tastings? In 2014 I attended a university course in food and wine: the aim of the course was to teach us how to select quality products and wines, rejecting poor quality ones. In this occasion I learned an interesting method to make people understand the difference among more products (for example olive oils): would you like to try it yourself? So, here's a proposal for you: a unique wines and extra virgin olive oils tasting. Where? Of course in my place "Cantina & Bottega"! Some selections of natural (chemicals free) cold cuts and local cheeses will be matched to the wines. You will taste 3 different kinds of wines and 3 different olive oils.
- A private vehicle with driver will pick we up in Varenna - Arrival in Gravedona - Olive oil, wine and food tasting: Explanation and description of the different kinds of olives and wines. You will taste selections of cold cuts and local cheeses. - You can also enjoy a visit of Gravedona (I will give you all the information and details about what to do and see) or you can go back with the public boats service. You can reach Varenna from Bellagio by ferry. Ask me for more information. I can customize the tour upon request.
