Local Food and Wine Experience Tour in Valtellina

Valtellina is a region situated in the Northern part of Lake Como; a little distance separates two different "worlds": the light blue lake gives space to green nature and majestic mountains, where inhabitants has been dedicated to agriculture and viticulture for centuries. We will start our tour discovering a family-run goat farm. When I met the owners, Cristina and Dario, I understood their deep involvement in their project: not simply a job, but a way of life. The place where they live and work is a picturesque mountain village surrounded by green fields, the perfect frame for their goats, and cheeses are so good! In the afternoon we will visit a small biodynamic winemaker company: the owner Marcel will show his vineyards and let us taste his unique wines. With Marcel it was "love at first sight"! He always welcomes you with a smile and makes you curious about his wines: they are the reflection of his unique personality and that's the special thing I love sharing with my guests!
