See The Perugia Highlights

First, we love our tour guide Alessandra. We have had her for other tours in Umbria. This time we did a 1/2 day tour in Perugia. I have actually been to Perugia many times, but with Alessandra I really gleaned so much more about the town. She brought to light both small details and also a bigger picture of the town and its relationship to other places in Italy. In addition, she took us to a bar on a side street that I never knew existed (it was a hidden gem and we still talk about it!).Highly recommend!

Alessandra was wonderful. Very knowledgable, interesting and patient. She explained the archeology and history of various sites as well as the meaning of paintings, buildings, etc. We are sure she tailored her talk to our interests and level of knowledge, instead of delivering a standard talk. Brava! We recommend her without any hesitation.

My husband, son and I had a wonderful morning in Perugia with Alessandra. She focused the tour on our interests, frequently turning on a dime to show us something in a square, on a fountain, decorating a building. She even explained the history and design of the local pottery. She wove facts and ideas together seamlessly. We learned while having a great time. Plus she pointed out restaurants, sweets and a bread bakery to try. Highly recommend!

Alessandra was a delight! Her knowledge of Perugia is extensive, and she shared it with us in a passionate and humorous manner. We especially enjoyed her insights into modern, and well as ancient, social customs and mores. She pointed out other activities that we could pursue during the remainder of our vacation (which we are happy that we did). The special coffee drink to which she introduced us was delicious. We recommend her as your tour guide whole-heartedly!

Alessandra gave us an exceptional 1/2 day tour of Perugia. Her English is excellent, and we found her to have deep knowledge and enthusiasm for the city, its history, local events, sights, shops and restaurants. She was flexible and attentive to our interests. We hope to tour with Alessandra again soon in this area!

Alessandra's tour was fun and informative. We got a little rain and she totally rolled with it by taking us into an amazing coffee shop until it passed even giving us the history of it. My group love every minute of it.
