Hi! I'm Francesco, I was born and raised in Florence where I lived most of my life. For the last half of my life I've been living in a house a little outside of Florence, in the Chianti area, the "Wine" area! Right after high school, I started working in the art business along with my father who has been an antiques dealer for over 30 years. I always loved art and always wanted to work with it and I think that growing up in a city like Florence with a father that has always taught me so much about art and history inspired me a lot. I've been working as an art dealer since 2012, loving it, and I'm still in that field. Thanks to that job I had the opportunity to travel a lot in my life, especially in the US where I've been many times. I also lived one year in Miami studying the english language and a few months in New York City. Since I always loved working with others, and most of all, the social interaction with people from different countries, I decided to throw myself in the tourist business and I became a tour guide. From that moment on I had wonderful experiences with so many different people from different countries. Considering that I've been a tourist myself many times in my life and I always loved and encouraged the idea of living the place instead of just visiting it, when I do tours I try to give an intimate view of the city, doing my best to let you experience everything from a real local perspective, sharing my love for this town and having also in mind that I see most of the places we'll be going through, as my home. . . the streets, my gym, my school, the bars. . . where I spent my youth and my life. So, if you are willing to explore the art, heritage, beauty and life of this town with a real local by your side, let's get in touch!
