Capri, one of the most famous islands in the world. The combination of land, sky, sea and light created by nature on this immense rock that emerges from the depths of the sea is a true miracle. Marianna was an amazing guide for our day trip to Capri. She had all details for the day ready and from the time we stepped off the ferry she made our day amazing!!! From a private boat trip to pre-arranged Taxis and skip the line access to various sites, she made our day easy and worry free. Anyone going to Capri would miss out if they did not book their tour with Marianna!!!
Marianna was incredible. She spent a day with us providing insights about Capri and Anacapri with compassion and enthusiasm borne from her love of the island. The day began with a boat tour, stopping at the many caves the island has along the coast. She then took us to Anacapri and the peaceful countryside. The restaurant that we stopped at for lunch was beautiful. It was located high in the hills with a view of the vineyards and vegetable gardens that are sourced by the restaurant. The owner and his family were friends of Marianna and they made us feel like special guests for the day. We were introduced to many locals during our tour including a local grocer, bakery owner and artist. It was truly a day when we got an opportunity to view the island through a local's perspective. Marianna also provided us recommendations for dinner, which were fantastic! In both instances, we had an opportunity to meet the chefs which were friends of her family. I highly recommend her tour for a special day getting to know the island! GRAZIE, Marianna!

We went to Capri by ferry, and Marianna met us right in front of the ferry easily. It seems Marianna know everyone on the island. The island has a lot of tourists, but we did not wait in any line, and the funicular line was very very long, and the only way to get up to the island expect for a very long stairway. We also did not wait for a taxi to get to Anacapri. It seems she knows everyone. Marianna is very pleasant and modified the tour based upon what we wanted to see. She recommended things and we decided. She gave us time in each area to wander after showing us the main sites. She recommended some restaurants, and we chose one in Anacapri ahead of time and she made the reservations. (She gave us the option of a local, farm to table restaurant, but since one of us had dietary restrictions we went with another suggestion. It was wonderful. Marianna arraigned for us to join an early boat tour around the island (which is not included at about 25 Euro a person). And we declined the chair lift to the top of the mountain, Something about an open chair lift and heights. If you want to spend the day, with no worries, with a very nice person leading you, I would highly recommend this tour.

We start at the main port of Capri, Marina Grande. We take a taxi (or small bus if you are more then 5)and we reach Anacapri very famous especially for a very gorgeous attraction: chairlift to one of the most panoramic terrace with a great view on the whole golf of Naples, Sorrento, Amalfi and the faraglioni rocks, the symbol of the island. Once back, we walk through the historical center with picturesque streets full of aartisanal shops and visit of the beautiful Church of St. Michele very famous because of the maiolica tiles floor. We can have a rest in some Restaurants as farm houses where they cook their organic vegetables or home restaurants surrounded by lemon groves and vineyards. In the afternoon we can reach the city center of Capri where the Piazzetta, considered "the sitting room of the jet set in the world"and have a coffee in one of the historical coffee. If you want, extra, you'll enjoy a boat tour of the whole island of Capri famous for grottos, caves, natural arch, Faraglioni rocks.
