Oh my goodness! What a memorable tour Roberto arranged. Roberto communicated with me extensively before the tour took place in order to optimize my experience. Visiting Capri and the Blue Grotto were on my bucket list. Roberto met me at the boat departing Naples for Capri and arranged for an excellent private boat tour around Capri. The captain, Raffaele, had been on boats, fishing with his father since age 4, knew the coast very well and was able to avoid rocks to get close to the shoreline. When inside the Blue Grotto, Roberto took extensive photos for me, so that I could focus on the experience. Roberto also adjusted the itinerary to my pace and interests. He was flexible in willing to stay longer, according to my energy level. Roberto is the perfect tour guide and will provide an experience that exceeds your expectations.

Roberto was fantastic!! He took the boat tour from Sorrento with us to Capri and all along the way made sure to point out and give the history of interesting spots & ancient ruins. Once on the island he guided us to all the best locations once again sharing the history of this amazing island. Our favorite spot was the Villa San Michele and gardens. Don't miss the chair lift to the top! Roberto's knowledge of the island is equally matched by his passion for what he does! Thank you Roberto!!

If was worth the tour because if it wasn't for Roberto we wouldn't have gone besides Capri, to Anacapri and get to know the town in depth. Not only he is a great tour guide but a very knowledgeable and nice person! Highly recommend!

Lovely Roberto! A fantastic tour of Capri and Anacapri. Roberto's recommendations were spot on and made our tour very special indeed. The boat tour and chairlift ride to Mount Solaro provided breathtaking sights and the garden lunch he arranged was fabulous. As an archeologist, his insights and knowledge were certainly appreciated and enjoyed. When we return, we will plan to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum with Roberto!!

Your Capri tour itinerary

We will meet dircetly in Capri! First, if the weather is good, we can hire a traditional "gozzo" boat for a private and exclusive tour of the island with a stop on the blue grotto. After the boat tour we will go uphill to Anacapri (the most authentic village of the island) where we can visit the Villa San Michele. Villa built by Axel Munthe, a Swedish phisician, on ancient roman ruins. The gardens and the details of this villa are simply amazing. Another option could be take the chairlift to Mount Solaro where there is the best view of the gulf of Naples and Amalfi Coast. Anacapri is know also for the little shop of painters and artisans that made leather sandals.
