Overview of your Alghero tour
Neptune's caves are one of the largest marine caves in Italy, a karst formation of about 2 million years ago, located 24 km from Alghero in the Marine Protected Area of Capo Caccia inside the Porto Conte Park. We will enjoy the beautiful crossing from the old town to the cave's entrance, that is a passage covered by concretions of vegetation and dense with stalactites and stalagmites. Consider that the visit of the grottoes depends on the weather conditions, if it is too windy the caves could be closed. There is also the possibility to visit the grottoes by using the 654 steps from Capo Caccia. Then my favourite part: I will guide you to discover the enchanting old city centre, where you will feel the good mixing of different cultures, Catalan and Sardinian. You'll enjoy some free time to relax there! I know very well this area as I have lived here since I was born. I can show you the greatest spots and I can arrange the best possible itinerary according to your interests.
