Tikal Full-Day & Jungle Discovery from Flores

Step into the ancient Maya world at Tikal, one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Guatemala. From Flores, we’ll travel through the lush Petén jungle to explore magnificent temples, ancient plazas, royal palaces, and sacred spaces hidden among the trees. Along the way, I’ll share the history, mysteries, traditions, and stories that make Tikal much more than a collection of ruins. As a certified local guide from Petén, I want you to experience Tikal the way I know it—not simply by walking from one temple to another, but by understanding the civilization, people, and landscape behind this incredible place. I’ll also help you slow down, appreciate the sounds of the jungle, spot wildlife when possible, and capture memorable photos along the way. 7:00 AM – Pick-up in Flores, hotel, or Mundo Maya International Airport. 7:20 AM – Private transfer to Tikal National Park with your bilingual local guide. 9:00 AM – Arrive at Tikal and begin exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site. 9:40 AM – Guided exploration of the Great Plaza, Temples I & II, Central Acropolis, Twin Pyramid Complexes, and Lost World. Weather permitting, climb Temple IV for spectacular rainforest views. 1:30 PM – Enjoy an authentic Guatemalan lunch at a local restaurant. 2:30 PM – Return to Flores while relaxing and sharing final stories about Maya history and culture. 4:00 PM – Drop-off at your hotel or Mundo Maya International Airport.
