Please reach out to me for the best experience in Saint-Malo and the surroundings (note, I don't do tours to Mont Saint Michel) I am a very passionate and enthusiactic tour guide and I am an outgoing person. I love showing my magnificent region to people coming from other countries, because I also love speaking foreign languages like english or german and meeting people from abroad! I am a native from the Saint-Malo region and I love hiking along the Rance estuary which I know like my pocket! I have had a varied career and I spent 12 years in Germany because of my passion for foreign languages and cultures and then I got to be a tourist guide as a freelance in my loved homeland. I'm willing to share my knowledge and passion about the wonderful landscape which surrounds me here and wants to show you the best places to be and to enjoy throughout the year! My Forefathers worked the land and fished in the seas around this beautiful place, so my heart beat for Brittany. I can show you hidden treasures of the Saint-Malo region and the Emerald Coast. If you want to discover our region, culture, history and impressive landscapes, I will accompany you with joy and enthusiasm throughout the best places of my region! Indeed I am also a keen walker and take great pleasure in introducing visitors to our wonderful coastal and upland scenery. I am happy to take you and your group on planned tours or I can arrange tailor-made tours according to your preferences. I welcome inquiries and am able to build you a bespoke tour that includes interests you may have! I have the official license as a guide in French, English and German languages I am also an official translator in these 3 languages I have a Master in "International relationship" and I have also a licence to teach German at the University ("Capes") I don't go to the Mont Saint-Michel

The Rance is a river of mysterious origins that once knew the formidable power of the spring tides but is now harnessed by a tidal power station. The estuary is a superb stretch of water whose banks are rich with a varied heritage, steeped in history and legend. I will tell you about all the Celtic legends and stories of this wonderful landscape! You will also discover the old idyllic fishermen's village of Saint-Suliac with its awesome granite houses and its attractive 12th-century church. Here you can feel the soul of Brittany! Saint-Suliac is classified amongst the "Most beautiful villages in France", it is very authentic and affords wonderful views over the Rance River. The granite houses on the water's edge and throughout the village are absolutely charming. Often dating from the 14th and 15th century most have painted shutters, a small but picturesque garden, and sea-related ornaments. . . During this 7 km hiking, you will discover one of the wildest Brittany's area and nature!
- We will start our tour in the authentic fishermen's village of Saint-Suliac where we will visit the 12th-century church and the wonderful oratory " Virgin of Grainfollet" overhanging the Rance estuary. - Then we will go for a 7 km long hike, where you will discover the wildness of the Rance riverbank and its legends. On the way, you will see an old Viking camp, a vineyard, an old windmill and many attractive points. - This is a wonderfully varied tour that encompasses so much of what Brittany is about, including myths and legends, old granite constructions and impressive views! Carefully selected photo stops and short walks to hidden views leave memorable impressions of some of the most stunning scenery in Brittany! Note : the tour can be customized, just contact me!
