Please reach out to me for the best experience in Saint-Malo and the surroundings (note, I don't do tours to Mont Saint Michel) I am a very passionate and enthusiactic tour guide and I am an outgoing person. I love showing my magnificent region to people coming from other countries, because I also love speaking foreign languages like english or german and meeting people from abroad! I am a native from the Saint-Malo region and I love hiking along the Rance estuary which I know like my pocket! I have had a varied career and I spent 12 years in Germany because of my passion for foreign languages and cultures and then I got to be a tourist guide as a freelance in my loved homeland. I'm willing to share my knowledge and passion about the wonderful landscape which surrounds me here and wants to show you the best places to be and to enjoy throughout the year! My Forefathers worked the land and fished in the seas around this beautiful place, so my heart beat for Brittany. I can show you hidden treasures of the Saint-Malo region and the Emerald Coast. If you want to discover our region, culture, history and impressive landscapes, I will accompany you with joy and enthusiasm throughout the best places of my region! Indeed I am also a keen walker and take great pleasure in introducing visitors to our wonderful coastal and upland scenery. I am happy to take you and your group on planned tours or I can arrange tailor-made tours according to your preferences. I welcome inquiries and am able to build you a bespoke tour that includes interests you may have! I have the official license as a guide in French, English and German languages I am also an official translator in these 3 languages I have a Master in "International relationship" and I have also a licence to teach German at the University ("Capes") I don't go to the Mont Saint-Michel

First let's discover Saint-Malo the wonderful Corsairs city with its 1. 7 km walls. A stone vessel on the mouth of the Rance River, Saint-Malo proudly erects its ramparts above its beaches and its harbor. The facades and towers emerging from the fortifications give the city its unique silhouette. The ramparts of Saint-Malo are classified as Historic Monuments since 1886. Then we have a lunch break in Saint-Suliac, little and typical fischermen's village on the Rance estuary. We drive then to the medieval town Dina. Ranked second in the fifty most photographed towns in France, Dinan is encircled by its 2. 7-kilometre-long ramparts - the longest in Brittany. We'll wander through its narrow streets. The town is home to no fewer than 130 half-timbered houses.
We start at the entrance of the old city Saint-Malo Intra-Muros to discover the castle, the cathedral, the walls and wonderful mansion of the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th century. I will explain you about the corsairs, the fishermen, the traditions of the inhabitants and their heroes too. The duration of this visit on foot is about 2 hours, if you want to get the opportunity for a little shopping, you're welcome. Then we drive 10 km away to a wonderful fishermen's village where we will eat in a typical restaurant of the region in a house of the 17th century. After this delicious lunch, we drive about 15km to Dinan (we take the beautiful road with view on the estuary). We discover Dinan and its little harbour on foot during about 1. 30 hour. Initially a commercial hub with links to St. Malo, the harbour became a marina in the 20th century. We take another pretty road back to Saint-Malo, we follow the estuary on its other side.
