Simon provided an absolutely exceptional experience touring Chenonceaux and Chambord. From the moment we met him, it was clear that he is deeply knowledgeable, passionate about French history, and genuinely invested in making the day unforgettable. Even on an incredibly busy French holiday, Simon handled everything seamlessly with professionalism, patience, and attention to detail. His storytelling brought both châteaux to life, and he shared fascinating insights we never would have discovered on our own. Every room, hallway, and garden became more meaningful because of his expertise and enthusiasm. Beyond his knowledge, Simon was simply wonderful company. Most importantly, Simon truly saved the day for us when we unexpectedly found ourselves unable to get train tickets back to Paris. Without hesitation, he stepped in to help and made sure we got where we needed to go. That level of kindness and care went far beyond what anyone could expect from a tour guide. We cannot recommend Simon highly enough. If you are considering a Loire Valley tour, book with him — you will leave with incredible memories and a deeper appreciation for the history and beauty of France.

Simon was incredible! He did an amazing job of engaging our kids throughout the tour. We had such a great time and he made this the highlight of our trip. Before our tour, Simon was easy to communicate with and accommodating figuring out car seats for the kids. During the tour, he was knowledgeable, funny, and personable. We’d recommend Simon to anyone looking for a tour of castles in the Loire valley.

We spent a wonderful day with Simon while visiting two castles. He is very knowledgeable while at the same time personable and engaging. I would recommend Simon to you without reservation. You will enjoy his tour and end the day much better informed than you began it.

Beautiful areas and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and respectful

Simone is an outstanding guide. He is knowledgeable, passionate, and committed to supurb customer service. Touring with him was like having a walking encyclopedia at our fingertips. We spent 4 wonderful days with him, and covered a lot of ground in the Loire Valley. Our only issue on this tour concerned his vehicle. Simone drives a beautiful electric BMW. For 1-3 passengers, this would be fine. But our four passengers felt cramped and uncomfortable during our rides. So, if your group is 1-3 people, hire Simone immediately. If your group is more than 3 people, hire Simone immediately, but tell him to get a bigger vehicle.

Incredible, and the depth of the information was exactly what we were looking for. When we were picked up by Simon in Tours, I explained to him that we were looking for the real history, not just an overview of historical events at Clos Luce and Chateau Amboise. The tour was set by Simon based on our available time and places to visit. Simon's knowledge of the area was bountiful and exactly what we wanted. Merci Simon
