Simon was so knowledgeable, kind, and entertaining! He gave us myriad insights into how Chenonceau came to be the treasure it is today. He allowed us to step back in time and appreciate each of the women who were involved in its creation, their motivations, and their personalities. From architecture to art to landscape design, every single feature of this incredible chateau was thoroughly explained. He shared features about how the estate was managed as well. We were fascinated for two hours and were left hungry for more. Thank you, Simon, for making yesterday such a memorable experience. We appreciated it so much!
