Now on, loaded with my professional captain licence, my aim , along with ToursByLocals, is to offer you the experience I would dream to have while visiting the rest of the world, making sure this boat tour will be as unique for you as for me, a day to remember forever. I've been sailing in the bay of Cannes since I was 3. At the age of 8, I joined a sailing club in Cannes where I still go and tackle the Mistral (strong wind) with their sport dingies. Now my two kids learn how to sail in the same club with the same coach I had. For the boat tours I have chosen a Rhea Marine, 27 ft PilotHouse. 5 passengers plus skipper. A vintage walkaround look, very elegant with a hull that guarantees an excellent seaworthiness. Large cockpit with benches and storage, PilotHouse with passenger seats and table, fore cabin with toilets. Large swim platform, snorkelling gear and Paddle board. A perfect fit for a boat tour to the Lerins Islands. As life goes on, I have to be honest, I enjoy life so much that I make sure that I love where I live and I love what I do. I have 30 years' experience working in the tourism industry in various fields. Starting as a summer-student job in the most famous Palace on the Croisette in Cannes, that was tough, but I definitely learnt a lot! Being trained as an artist I worked for 7 years in a local medieval village called Biot, selling my artwork to the rest of the world. I also spent 10 years in North America in search of adventure and other cultures. Along with my wife, we started and operated a resort by a lake in British Columbia where I used to offer guided services to our guests. Ten years ago, I finally came back home to the French Riviera with my wife and two kids to enjoy the multi-generational family time. Since I came back, I've been so excited to be guiding in one of the most beautiful places on earth. We did a two hour tour. Philippe was wonderful. He was on time. His boat was in very good condition and very clean. I don't know much about running a boat but I always felt very comfortable and relaxed. He shared with us local history, which made the trip interesting and fun. My daughter was able to swim and snorkel off an island in the Gulf of Cannes. Phillippe was professional and personable. We so enjoyed our trip!
Phillipe was an excellent boat captain and even better tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything French Riviera and shared interesting stories throughout our trip. He was very nice and friendly and gave us several great recommendations to do for the rest of our trip. Anyone who comes to Nice, Cannes, or Antibes should definitely do this tour with Phillipe to have a once in a lifetime experience. The views were incredible and the swimming was so much fun!
What a blast! My wife and I traveled to the region to celebrate our anniversary. Philippe's tour was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip! He expertly took us out on open water, gave us time for an extremely relaxing and wonderful swim (as well as letting us use his stand up paddle board and snorkel equipment), and told us tales of the French Riveria. An awesome guy with incredible sights!

You'll be welcomed to come aboard a Rhéa Marine Pilothouse, a 27ft o/a day cruiser for seven passengers plus skipper. A tough off shore small vessel made in France that is found where sea, passion and safety combines. The boat is docked in Golfe-Juan Marina, ideally located between Cannes and Antibes. We usually meet at the boat. From here we'll head to the Cap d'Antibes, the Lerins Island and the bay of Cannes. Along your easy going private boat tour we might meet the local dolphins.
