A taste of St. Emilion Past, Present and Chateau !

Hello everyone and welcome to Bordeaux ! I was born in Lille, grew up near Paris, but near Bordeaux is the place to be, a wonderful area for my family and here is where I wish to live ! There is something for everyone, great architecture with many influences, some baroque, neo-classique and regional style which leave us with a beautiful town and a very elegant historical center. There are great monuments reminding us of the prosperious past of the town, like the stock exchange square, very nice boutiques, in the old town, and so many specialities for the gourmet or the "gourmand". . . not to mention great art with the museum d'Aquitaine or the Cité du Vin. . . Of course, some of the finest french vineyards are nearby. . . should you wish to visit St Emilion and Pommerol, the Médoc, Sauternes. . . I will be happy to explain the different classifications and what type of wine one could expect before we visit a Chateaux ! My goal is to make sure you have a wonderful time, you may tell me how you imagine your day and I will do my best to make it happen. I love my region and all it has to offer. . . I have been working as a full time Program Manager in Europe on Coach tours and a Cruise Manager on River cruises. I am a Licenced National Guide working with international Cruise / Tour companies operating with groups or individuals. I have worked for over 20 years with travelers from Australia, New Zeland, Great Britain, Canada and United States and everywhere english is spoken. I also have the right to drive a van with pasengers or can arrange for a private van and a driver.
