Come with me in this multi-day tour and have the extraordinary opportunity to travel through Ethiopia's fascinating Southern Rift valley region, famous for its natural spectacles and the unique chance to meet some of the local ethnic groups. Together we will visit Lake Awassa, Ziway and Langano to spot different birds. We'll go to Abijatta-Shalla National Park; take boat trip on Lake Chamo to see Nile Crocodiles and Hippos and the beautiful Wongdogenet forest. This tour also includes the visit to the Dorze tribe which are well-known cotton weavers and the Sidama people, famous for their coffee plantations. Your Arba Minch tour itinerary
DAY 1: ARBAMINCH You will be picked up from your hotel or Airport. Then short drive to visit the Dorze tribe who lives on the Guge Mountain. You will be able to admire their cotton-weaving techniques and beehive shaped houses constructed entirely from organic materials. DAY 2: ARBAMINCH to YIRGALEM In the morning, boat trip on Lake Chamo to see crocodiles and Hippos. Then drive to Yirgalem the home of the Sidama tribe. The Sidama are agricultural and famous for their coffee plantations. During the afternoon, you will visit their village. DAY 3: YIRGALEM to LANGANO Morning, drive to Awassa and visit the Fish market on Lake Awassa. Then visit Wedogenet forest and Abijata Shalla National Park. Finally Transfer to a lodge located at Lake Langano. DAY 4: LANGANO to ADDIS ABABA Leave Langano and drive to Addis Ababa. On the way visit Lake Ziway and creator lakes at Debere Zeit (Bishoftu). Arrive at Addis Ababa late in the Afternoon and transfer to Airport or Hotel. The Tour will end here.
