Are you ready to hear the amazing history of Kutna Hora? I am sure it will impress you. . . Kutna Hora is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage, place where important events of our history were taking place. It took centuries to build the gothic St. Barbara Cathedral, and believe me, it is very unique it's Ossuary (Bone Church), a chapel which is decorated with thousands of sceletons and bones. Did you know this? Historic centre of this once an important medieval town because of the Silver mines takes you back in time while walking the winding street. Let's explore Kutna Hora together. What a lovely tour. Prompt pick up with ou guide Eva and driver. Learned so much about the area. Great to be out of the crowds of Prague for a day. Visited the top sites with lots of great explanation from Eva, had a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, and gathered so many tips for additional places to visit in Prague. Eva even helped make some restaurant reservations for us. Highly recommend!
This was my second tour with Eva. I asked her to provide some additional sites close to Prague. She worked up a custom tour working in as much as she could given the amount of sunlight we had. The sites she picked were great and she had strong knowledge and history of all of them. She was also very patient with my quirky need to take picture without other people which sometimes means waiting 5-10 minutes for sites to clear. Really excellent work. Do hesitate to book with her.
Highly recommended!!! Eva rates more than just 5 stars An absolutely wonderful tour guide. Perfect English. Super knowledgeable. Great vehicle and driver (clean, roomy, comfortable). Kutna Hora is a special place that we had never heard of and probably would have never gone to. Eva recommended this and we were absolutely delighted that she took us there.
Arrived early for the tour very prepared. Found great place for lunch and conversation. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Fantastic guide. Highly recommend.
Eva and our driver, Pavel were outstanding. We love Tours by Locals because of the quality of the guides and drivers they employ. Ours was a custom tour in the small towns surrounding Prague exploring where my husband's great-grand parents were born and married before migrating to the United States. Eva did her research... she provided us with some history, baptismal records from the Church. It was an amazing day and you can be sure we will be more excursions with Tours by Locals. Outstanding!
