It takes us just one hour to get to medieval ages. This tour is just like immersion in parallel reality, back to medieval ages. In the 13th century Kutna Hora was one of the main cities in the Bohemian kingdom and contended with Prague for the title of capital. During our we will see highlights of Kutna Hora. First of all we visit beautiful Gothic style Cathedral of Saint Barbara, main old town Square and residence of several Czech kings. Besides all these see sights we will visit very famous Bone church that contains 40000 skeletons. These bones were used for decoration of the church. So we can enjoy baroque decoration!
Varvara was punctual, and had everything arranged. Well organized. She conducted the tour with us learning the history and culture of the area we were visiting. She also included many tit-bits on the daily life of a Czech person, teaching us the culture of the locals as well.
This was our third tour over 3 days with Varvara in Prague. First was 8 hr tour of Prague. 2nd was a food tour. 3rd was day tour to Kutna Hora. All 3 tours was beyond our expectations. Varvara is well versed in the history of the Czech Republic/Prague. She was a pleasure to spend time with during our time in Prague and was very informative. Transportation for the first and 3rd tour was a Lexus RH series with a wonderful driver. I highly recommend Tours by Locals and if available booking with Varvara.

Very instructive and enjoyable tours of St. Barbara's church, the town square and the strange Bone Church. Kutna Hora is a short drive from Prague but worth the visit. Varvara is an excellent story teller and makes history come alive.
